The film "22 July" (2018) is a three-part story about the survivors, political leadership of Norway, and lawyers involved in the aftermath of neo-Nazi terrorist Anders Behring Breivik's 2011 attack on Utøya Island that killed 77 young people attending a Labour Party Youth Camp. Viljar Hanssen (Jonas Strand Gravli), who was shot multiple times during the massacre, returns home with his family and learns to walk again but is haunted by memories of the attack. The film explores the legal battle over Breivik's guilt and sentencing, which included an attempted insanity defense led by lawyer Geir Lippestad (Jon Øigarden).
