Candyman

A graduate student researching urban legends unwittingly unleashes a supernatural force when she summons the vengeful spirit of Candyman, a hook-handed ghost born into slavery and brutally murdered for his forbidden love affair with a white woman. As Helen delves deeper into the legend, she finds herself at the epicenter of a brutal cycle of violence and murder, forcing her to confront the darker truths about Cabrini-Green's troubled past and her own connection to it. With each repetition of his name, Candyman claims more victims, drawing Helen inexorably into his deadly game of survival, where only one can emerge unscathed.
