Egon Schiele: Death and the Maiden

Egon Schiele is a 2016 biographical film directed by Dieter Berner, telling the story of Egon Schiele's life as a young painter in pre-WWI Vienna. Egon (Noah Saavedra) lives with his sister Gerti and dedicates himself to his art, despite struggling financially. He meets Gustav Klimt, who becomes impressed by Egon's work, and also forms a romantic relationship with Klimt's model Wally Neuzil (Valerie Pachner), which puts him at odds with her brother, who tries to intervene on behalf of the young artist.
