"My Friend 'A'" is a psychological thriller based on a novel, following Masuda Junichi (Toma Ikuta), an aspiring journalist who plans to expose his co-worker Suzuki Hideto/Aoyagi Kentaro (Eita Nagayama) for his alleged past as a psychopathic murderer. The film explores the complex relationship between the two men and Masuda's growing suspicion about Suzuki's true nature. Through their friendship, Masuda uncovers dark secrets from Suzuki's troubled past.
