Koichi Sato
Biography
Koichi Sato is a Japanese actor born on December 10, 1960, in Kagurazaka, Shinjuku, Tokyo. The son of veteran actor Rentarō Mikuni, Sato has won three individual Blue Ribbon Awards for Best Newcomer (1982), Best Actor (2003), and Best Supporting Actor (2024). He is the first actor to achieve this feat since his father. His early life was marked by frequent visits to filming locations with his father.
