The Last Ronin

16 years after the infamous "revenge of the Forty-seven Ronin," Kichiemon Terasaka (Koichi Sato) sets out on a mission to find the families of the fallen samurais and spread the truth of the ronin uprising. His journey takes him across the country, as he seeks to honor the memories of his comrades who gave their lives for their lord and their loyalty. With the help of Magozaemon Senoo (Koji Yakusho), a former ally turned acquaintance, Kichiemon navigates the complexities of feudal Japan, confronting the consequences of the ronin's actions and the true cost of their sacrifice.
