Doubt

In 1964 Bronx, two Catholic school nuns question the ambiguous relationship between a troubled African-American student and a new priest. A strict principal's suspicions are fueled by gossip and a desire to protect her parishioners, while a young teacher struggles with her own faith and compassion. As the situation unfolds, the true nature of the priest's actions is revealed, forcing both characters to confront their own doubts and tolerance.
