The Muppets Take Manhattan

The Muppets graduate from Danhurst College and decide to take their song-filled senior revue to New York City, where they meet producer Martin Price, but are interrupted by the police who have arrived to arrest him as a wanted con artist. After several months of unsuccessful attempts to find a new producer, Kermit snaps at his friends, leading them to go their separate ways. Meanwhile, Miss Piggy secretly remains in Manhattan to keep an eye on Kermit and eventually finds work at Pete's diner. When Kermit becomes unconscious after being struck by a taxi, the rest of the Muppets search for him, but he regains his memory when one of his friends karate chops him, bringing back his memories of their friendship. The show ultimately becomes a smash hit, with Kermit and Miss Piggy's characters performing in what is intended to be a staged wedding, until Miss Piggy swaps out Gonzo with an ordained minister.
