A Ship to India

Returning home after seven years at sea, Captain Alexander Blom relives his youth aboard a salvage ship dominated by his abusive father, Johannes (Holger Löwenadler), who is struggling to come to terms with physical and emotional pain. As the film explores family conflict, longing, and moral reckoning through flashback, we see Johannes' journey towards self-discovery and escape from his troubled past. The story unfolds against the backdrop of a complex web of relationships, ultimately leading Johannes to make a difficult decision about his future with the woman he loves, Sally (Gertrud Fridh).
