Laugh or Die

"Suomen hauskin mies" is a dark comedy drama film released in 2018, directed by Heikki Kujanpää. The movie is set on an island prison during Finland's Civil War and follows the story of Toivo Parikka (Martti Suosalo), a former actor wrongly accused of war crimes, as he attempts to create a humorous performance for a visiting German General (Paavo Kinnunen). With the help of his troupe, including stagehands, Parikka must use all his inventive skills to produce something funny in the midst of death and despair.
