In this 1980 Biblical spoof film, Dudley Moore plays Herschel, a man whose life parallels that of the more famous Moses, yet he's misled to think he's the prophet of God. Harvey and Zoey, two tourists in Israel, discover an ancient scroll describing Herschel's story, but it seems he keeps getting outshone by his biblical counterpart. The film parodies several other biblical tales, including Lot and his wife, David and Goliath, and the miracles of Jesus, with a mix of action, comedy, and fantasy elements.
