In this Spaghetti Western, Lee Van Cleef stars as Billy Joe Cudlip, a charismatic thief who takes on the role of sheriff in order to rob a silver shipment before his ex-partner can grab it. A unique plan involves using a stagecoach to shift the product, but when things don't go according to plan and bandits start causing trouble, Cudlip must use his skills to protect the town and decide whether to stay on the side of the law or return to his life of crime.
