In this 1994 Canadian comedy film, Warren Kooey, a harried suburban man, concocts an elaborate ruse to recoup his dwindling funds after his wife splurges on a lavish remodeling project. By posing as a hostage, Kooey calls in the SWAT Team, only to find himself caught up in a chaotic game of cat and mouse with actual Russian terrorist Yuri Petrovich. As the absurd situation spirals out of control, Kooey's midlife crisis takes an unexpected turn for the worse.
