Raymond Sharkey Jr. was an American actor known for his Golden Globe-winning performance in the 1980 film The Idolmaker. He also starred in the television series Wiseguy and appeared in notable films like Scenes from the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills and In the Line of Duty: Street War. Diagnosed with HIV in the late 1980s, Sharkey tragically passed away in June 1993 due to AIDS-related complications.
