Murray Langston

Biography

Murray Langston was born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1945 to parents who were disabled and financially strapped. He left home at 15 to support his family and later joined the US Navy, serving during the Vietnam War. Langston's stand-up comedy career began with appearances on The Gong Show and Laugh-In, leading to regular spots on The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour and other prime-time TV shows.
