Jesse Ventura

Biography

Jesse "The Body" Ventura is a former professional wrestler and politician who served as Minnesota's 38th governor from 1999 to 2003. A Vietnam War veteran and member of the Navy Special Operations Underwater Demolition/SEAL Teams, Ventura won election with the Reform Party in 1998 and implemented tax cuts, construction projects, and income tax reductions during his term. He later hosted political shows and wrote books after leaving office.
