Charles Tingwell

Biography

Charles William "Bud" Tingwell AM was a veteran Australian actor born on January 3, 1923, in Coogee, Sydney. He began his career in radio at 17 and later enlisted with the Royal Australian Air Force during World War II. After the war, Tingwell transitioned to film and television, appearing in over 100 films and TV programs, including notable roles in "A Cry in the Dark" and "Irresistible".
