Biography

Kensaku Hara was a renowned Japanese actor born on April 23, 1905, in Uwajima, Ehime Prefecture. He began his career at the New Min'yō School of Theater and later debuted in film with '弥陀ヶ原の殺陣' in 1925, transitioning to acting in the 1930s. Hara went on to become a veteran actor, starring in notable films such as 'Ninja hichô: Fukurô no shiro' (1963) and later appearing in television dramas like '柳生一族の陰謀'. He passed away on February 7, 2002, at the age of 96.
