Koiya koi nasu na koi

The Mad Fox is a 1962 Japanese drama and fantasy film directed by Tomu Uchida, based on a 1734 bunraku play. The story follows fortune-teller Abe Yasuna (Hashizo Ōkawa), who loses his mind after a conspiracy leads to the death of his lover, Sakaki (Michiko Saga). He finds solace in the company of Sakaki's twin sister, Kuzunoha (also played by Michiko Saga), and together they navigate the complexities of fate, love, and identity. The film explores themes of love, loss, and the blurred lines between reality and fantasy, as Yasuna's grip on sanity begins to slip.
