Biography

Chōichirō Kawarasaki was a Japanese actor born in Musashino Town, Tokyo, as the eldest son of Kawarazaki Chojuro IV. He graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Musashi High School and briefly attended Waseda University's Department of Literature before dropping out. Known for his roles in "The Gate of Youth" (1975), "Aka chôchin" (1974), and "Rhapsody in August" (1991), Kawarasaki passed away at 64 due to acute heart failure in 2003, leaving behind a legacy as a talented actor.
