Aamir Bashir

Biography

Aamir Bashir is a Kashmir-born actor and director who gained recognition for his role as a police inspector in the thriller A Wednesday (2008), earning him a Screen Awards nomination for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. His directorial debut, Harud (2010), premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and won him the National Film Award for Best Urdu Feature Film. He has also appeared in notable films like Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023) and Laal Kaptaan (2019).
