Biography

Tatsuya Ishiguro was a Japanese actor born Teruzō Ishiguro on July 1, 1911, in Hiroshima Prefecture. He joined the Shin-Tsukiji Gekidan theater company and later transitioned to film, making his debut in Hikoroku Naguraru (1940), followed by notable roles in The Ecology of Marriage (1941) and Sino-Japanese co-productions like Beacon Fires Rise Over Shanghai. A veteran actor with a commanding presence, he was known for his performances until his death on December 18, 1965.
