Mildred Natwick was a renowned American actress who began performing on stage at age 21 with "The Vagabonds" in Baltimore. She made her Broadway debut in 1932 and went on to star in numerous films, including John Ford classics like The Quiet Man and She Wore a Yellow Ribbon. Natwick earned an Academy Award nomination for her role in Barefoot in the Park, won a Primetime Emmy Award for her work in The Snoop Sisters, and was nominated for two Tony Awards.
