Taizō Fukami

Biography

Taizō Fukami was a Japanese actor born on January 22, 1901, in Miyazaki Prefecture. He began his career in theater with the establishment of Pintokujōza in 1926 and later joined J.O. Stadyo in 1937, becoming an exclusive artist for Matsudaira Osaka. Fukami appeared in numerous films throughout his career, including "Princesses of Enryakuji" (1936) and "Blood Vessels" (1938), before retiring from acting due to difficulty with speech in the spring of 1967.
