Karel Höger was a Czech film actor known for his versatility and range in nearly a century of cinema. Notable roles include Prokop in "Krakatit" (1948) and the titular character in A Dead Man Among the Living (1949), co-starring with actress Zdenka Procházková, whom he later divorced. With over 90 film credits between 1939 and 1977, Höger left an indelible mark on Czech cinema.
