Shirō Ōsaka

Biography

Shirō Ōsaka was a Japanese actor born on February 14, 1920, in Akita Prefecture. He began his career under the mentorship of director Yoshijirō Taniguchi and debuted in 1943 with "Open Night Before War." Ōsaka's breakout role came in 1946 with "The Day of Our Youth," followed by a successful transition to television, where he became a regular cast member on shows like "Seven Sons" and "Big Oak岡."
