Géza Röhrig is a Hungarian actor and poet born on May 11, 1967, in Budapest. He rose to international acclaim for his role as Sonya Székely in the 2015 film Son of Saul, which won numerous awards, including the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Prior to his acting career, Röhrig was a musician and published two collections of poems on the theme of the Shoah.
