Biography

Loyal Underwood was an American stock actor for Charlie Chaplin's film studio, debuting in The Count (1916) and appearing in numerous films throughout the early 20th century, including "The Pilgrim" (1923), "Shoulder Arms" (1918), and "Limelight" (1952). He worked as a writer and director at KNX radio station in Los Angeles from 1928. Underwood's film career spanned over four decades, with most roles remaining uncredited.
