Biography

Anika Noni Rose is an American actress known for her iconic voice as Tiana in The Princess and the Frog (2009). Her notable stage work includes starring as Emmie Thibodeaux in the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Caroline, or Change (2004) and Beneatha Younger in the Tony-nominated Broadway revival of A Raisin in the Sun (2014). She was also awarded a Disney Legend in 2011 for her contributions to the film.
