Lin Yun, known professionally as Jelly Lin, is a Chinese actress born on April 16, 1996, in Huzhou, Zhejiang. At 18, she landed the lead role in the 2016 film The Mermaid, which catapulted her to fame and became the highest-grossing film in China. She went on to star in other notable films, including Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons 2 and Genghis Khan.
