Jason Evers was a renowned American actor born Herb Evers in New York City on January 2, 1922. Inspired by stars like John Wayne, he pursued acting after joining the US Army and eventually landed his first big break in the NBC western series Wrangler in 1960. He starred in notable roles in Channing (1963-1964) and The Brain That Wouldn't Die (1962), before appearing sporadically in films and TV shows throughout the 1960s and 1970s, including a memorable guest spot with Bruce Lee's Green Hornet.
