Zach Galligan is an American actor born on February 14, 1964, in New York City, to a psychologist mother and lawyer father. He gained prominence starring as Billy Peltzer in the comedy-horror films Gremlins (1984) and its sequel, Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990). Galligan's career has also included roles in horror comedies Waxwork (1988) and Waxwork II: Lost in Time (1992), as well as voice work on a progressive rock album.
