In this bizarre and fantastical tale, a struggling artist is forced to abandon his dreams of stardom when he fails a test and lands a job directing traffic in New York City's Holland Tunnel. There, he meets Mara, a fellow aspiring artist who takes him on a wild ride to the moon aboard a Lunar Cruiser, where they encounter a cast of eccentric characters, including a mysterious bus ride through space, the enigmatic Eloy, and a shopping spree in Consumerzone. This surreal comedy-drama defies genre boundaries, blending humor, romance, and science fiction in a delightfully absurd adventure that is equal parts whimsical and poignant.
