Timothy Bottoms

Biography

Timothy James Bottoms is an American actor and film producer born August 30, 1951, in Santa Barbara, California. He gained early fame for his roles as Joe Bonham in Johnny Got His Gun (1971) and Sonny Crawford in The Last Picture Show (1971), alongside Cybill Shepherd and Jeff Bridges. Bottoms also starred in The Paper Chase (1973) as James Hart, a law student battling Prof. Kingsfield, and played President George W. Bush in various productions, including the sitcom That's My Bush! and the docudrama DC 9/11: Time of Crisis.
