Gérard Jugnot
Biography
Gérard Jugnot is a French actor, film director, screenwriter, and producer born on May 4, 1951, in Paris. He co-founded the comedy troupe Le Splendid in the 1970s with friends Christian Clavier, Thierry Lhermitte, Michel Blanc, Josiane Balasko, and Marie-Anne Chazel, adapting stage hits for film and achieving success with films like Les Bronzés. Jugnot gained international fame for his role in Les Choristes and was awarded Chevalier of the Légion d'honneur in 2004.
