Biography

Andreas Voutsinas was a Greek actor and theatre director born on August 22, 1930, in Khartoum, Sudan, to parents from the island of Cephalonia, Greece. He studied acting and costume design in London before joining the Actors Studio in 1957. Voutsinas went on to become known for his roles in Mel Brooks' films, including The Producers and History of the World, Part I.
