The Twelve Chairs

In 1920s Soviet Russia, a fallen aristocrat, Father Fyodor, and a con artist, Ostap Bender, search for a treasure of jewels hidden inside one of twelve dining chairs, lost during the revolution. Characterized by a complex story and well-developed characters, the film follows their wild goose chase across the country as they attempt to recover the treasure. Ron Moody as Ippolit Vorobyaninov plays a significant role alongside Frank Langella as Ostap Bender and Dom DeLuise as Father Fyodor.
