Kurt Raab was a German stage and film actor, screenwriter, and playwright born in Bergreichenstein, Czech Republic on July 20, 1941. He collaborated with Rainer Werner Fassbinder on 31 film projects, earning recognition for his roles in "Feel the Motion" (1985), "Abwärts" (1984), and "Satan's Brew" (1976). A pioneer of AIDS awareness in West Germany, Raab passed away at 46 due to complications from HIV/AIDS on June 28, 1988.
