Carla Del Poggio was a renowned Italian actress, born Maria Luisa Attanasio, who shone on stage and screen for over six decades. She was married to acclaimed director Alberto Lattuada for 60 years, and her notable film roles include "Variety Lights" and "Luci del varietà" in the 1950s. A Naples native, she left a lasting legacy in Italian cinema, theatre, and television. She passed away at the age of 84 in 2010.
