Luci del varietà

In a small Italian town, a troupe of traveling performers, led by the ageing manager Checco Dal Monte (Peppino De Filippo), struggle to make ends meet. Liliana "Lily" Antonelli (Carla Del Poggio), a beautiful and ambitious young woman, joins the troupe and quickly charms the crowds, causing jealousy and emotional crises among the performers. As Checco's feelings for Lily grow, he must confront his past and make difficult choices about his future.
