Giulio Calì was a renowned Italian film actor born on March 26, 1895, in Rome. Following his stage debut in Romanesco dialect theater and avanspettacolo, he made his film debut in 1927 and gained significant roles with directors Alberto Lattuada, Steno, and Mario Monicelli, among others. Notably, Calì's early career was marked by collaborations with notable Italian filmmakers, including a starring role in Alberto Lattuada's "Legione straniera" (1953).
