Leonard Rossiter

Biography

Leonard Rossiter was a British actor born on October 21, 1926, in Wavertree, Liverpool. He gained notoriety for his roles as Rupert Rigsby in Rising Damp and Reginald Perrin in The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, both of which aired from the late 1970s. Rossiter's career also spanned theatre and television commercials, including a notable series with Joan Collins.
