Jack Benny was a renowned American comedian and entertainer who transitioned from vaudeville to radio, television, and film success. He is best known for his iconic comedic persona as the miserly "39-year-old" character, which brought laughter with its signature exasperated expression. His radio show, The Jack Benny Program, remains a high-water mark in 20th-century American comedy, running from 1932 to 1965.
