Biography

Chris Avram was a Romanian-Italian film actor born on August 31, 1931, in Bucharest to a family of active communists. After studying law and attending the Academy of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography, he transitioned into acting, befriending Marina Vlady at a Moscow film festival. He fled to Paris with her help in 1966 and later settled in Rome, Italy, where he died of cancer in 1989.
