Jean-Pierre Bacri
Biography
Jean-Pierre Bacri was a French actor and screenwriter born on May 24, 1951, in Algeria to a Sephardic Jewish family. He trained as an actor at the Simon course and wrote his first play, Le Doux Visage De L'Amour, which earned him a prize in 1979. Bacri collaborated with actress Agnès Jaoui on several films, including Smoking / No Smoking and Un air de famille, for which he won multiple César Awards. He died of cancer on January 18, 2021, at the age of 69.
