Rossano Brazzi
Biography
Rossano Brazzi was an Italian actor born in Bologna to Adelmo and Maria Ghedini Brazzi. He made his film debut in 1939 and gained international fame with roles in Three Coins in the Fountain (1954) and Summertime (1955), opposite Katharine Hepburn. Brazzi's suave, romantic leading man archetype earned him a reputation as a matinee idol of Italian cinema before transitioning to Hollywood success in the early 1950s.
