Blanche Friderici was a native of Brooklyn, New York, born on September 12, 1873, and later remembered for her notable film roles in Night Nurse (1931), A Farewell to Arms (1932), and Flying Down to Rio (1933). She transitioned from an acting teacher to actress after losing her eyesight. Friderici's career spanned the early years of cinema, with 60 films produced between 1920 and 1934.
