Night Nurse

Barbara Stanwyck plays Lora Hart, a trainee nurse who lands a job at a hospital and is assigned to care for two sick young girls. She soon discovers that her employer's husband, Nick (Clark Gable), the brutish chauffeur, is using the children's trust fund to support his own life of crime and starvation of the girls. As Lora gets closer to the truth, she must navigate the dark world of bootlegging and corruption, all while facing personal danger from the ruthless characters around her.
