Jake Matthew Lloyd is a former American actor born on March 5, 1989, in Fort Collins, Colorado. He gained worldwide fame playing young Anakin Skywalker in the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace and later reprised the role in various video games. Lloyd's notable career highlights also include recurring roles as Jimmy Sweet in ER and Young Angelo in The Pretender, before retiring from acting in 2001.
