Halina Reijn

Biography

Halina Reijn was born on November 10, 1975, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, to artistic parents who were followers of the Subud spiritual movement. She grew up in a unique household with her sisters and father, who built a theater room for her at home. Her interest in acting began at six years old after watching Annie at a local theater. She later transitioned into filmmaking, writing, and directing, becoming a notable figure in the Dutch entertainment industry.
